Classic Argyle Boots – Caring For Your Ugg Classic Argyle Knit Boots

Do you want that new pair of Ugg Classic Argyle Boots you have just brought to take good care of your feet? If you do then make sure that you take good care of them as well. These are the kinds of boots that you will find yourself wearing a lot during the winter months and so the chances of them becoming dirty and stained are high indeed.

Yes you can keep them looking good by regularly removing dirt and dust from them by wiping with a damp soft cloth every few days. However, if stains appear on them then there are other things that you can do. Below we take a look at a couple of ways for removing more stubborn stains that may appear on your Ugg Classic Argyle Boots this winter.

Method 1 – Take a piece of white chalk and then grind it down into a very fine powder. Use a pestle and mortar to do this. Once you have ground the chalk down enough you take a soft cloth and very gently dab it over the area that is stained. What the chalk does is help to draw out the impurities in the merino wool which has resulted in the offending stain. Then after applying the chalk take another damp clean soft cloth to wipe and dab away the excess chalk.

Method 2 – This time take a damp teabag that you have immersed in clean cold water and lay this over the area of the boot that is stained overnight. Often as the teabag dries out it will draw out the foreign matter and into itself. So you end up with a pair of Ugg Classic Argyle boots that look almost as good as new.

Popular Clothing Brands

Style and fashion is one of the biggest things people pay attention to these days. Everyone has to wear clothes, but there are those people who take getting dressed in the morning to a whole new level. They don’t get dressed to be dressed, they get dressed to make a statement. Whatever that statement may be, there are tons of different clothing brands that will cater to whatever style you need. What look you decide to go with and how much you want to spend are up to you.

For those who choose a prestige and high profile style, there are certain clothing brands that are classics and will always be popular clothing brands. Those that come to mind are Chanel, Gucci, Dolce & Gabana, Ralph Lauren and Armani. The brand names sell themselves, but these are the styles that people see most of the celebrities wearing. People idolise celebrities, so they will shell out huge amounts of money to be just like them.

Classic brands for the younger age that are the popular clothing brands would be Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Nautica and Lucky Brand. These are a bit high-profile for teenagers (they can get pricey) but they have become a staple for that “all-American” look that so many teenagers are into these days. They started the torn jeans and layered shirt looks that so many people today wear.

Other popular clothing brands that are driven towards the teenagers and young adults are those like Vans, Bench, Skin Industries, MOB Inc, DrunkNmunky, Gas, Hooch, Old Glory, Urbanstone, DC and other skater and motocross related styles. They have all kinds of styles, but tend to be more moderately priced and are therefore more appealing, making them popular with those who want to look good but not break the bank.

New clothing lines are constantly coming and going but only a few of them seem to stay course. The main fashion staples are already out there and people tend to stay true to them. It’s usually the classics that will always be the most popular brands (whether they be the high end brands or not). If they weren’t the popular brands then they wouldn’t be the classics now would they?

Happy and Shopping.

Mens Designer Clothing And The Colourful Changes

Every time I think of mens clothing I get images of browns, blacks and greys. No matter how fashion may change and what the latest fad may be it is clear that mens fashion has yet to witness any drastic moves and although many have tried, the power that lies with those monotone shades still remains.

In today’s modern-day society, in which men everywhere are more open to experimenting with what they wear; the standard greys, blacks and browns are considered the ‘safe’ and often boring options but that wasn’t always the case. For our great grandfathers, grandfathers and fathers; sharply cut suits in greys, blacks and browns were the epitome of class and were symbols of style for real men’s men, so why isn’t that still the case now?

Admittedly many of us might not pull out the black suit unless there is a funeral or wedding but should we be made to feel like we’re the paupers of the fashion world if we take out the greys and blacks? Many of the leading mens fashion designers have attempted to shake things up by adding great dashes of bold colours into their ranges. Designers including Valentino, Hugo Boss and Vivienne Westwood have thrown greens, blues and yellows into the world of mens designer clothing but I can’t help but wonder, does wearing a bright yellow suit really make me fashion forward?

Call me a bore if you must but I am a stickler for the good, classic styles of clean-cut suits in the colours that have been worn for years. Don’t get me wrong; I have nothing against a polka dot pattern or a bright dash of colour and after-all if the clothes we wear represent who we are then finding the perfect style, whatever that may be is essential.

There have been a range of new additions to mens fashion but my personal favourite has to be the sailor style that consists of navy boat shoes, navy fitted jackets and maybe a striped pocket sleeve for that perfect added touch. For me a style like this is fantastic as, although it is fresh and exciting it still embodies the simplicity and class so associated with classic mens fashion.

Whether it is those greens, blues and yellows to polka dots, stripes and patch-works; in my personal opinion any drastic colour changes belong only on runways and in fashion magazines. When it comes to real life and a real man’s world; unless you are an intern at GQ the classic looks and colours will always suffice.

Whatever the latest new style may be, the classic shades of browns, greys and blacks will always stand tall and why shouldn’t they? If they were good enough for our grandfathers and if they’re even good enough for the ultimate British man James Bond than they’re good enough for us!
